Accessibility

The CBI building is accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). The conference room can accommodate several wheelchair users. There are also two PRM toilets on the ground floor, which will be signposted during the conference. Pictures of the venue, its bathrooms, and the path to the metro will be posted on the instagram @sienc.e.s_conference, and can be made readily available by e-mail.

Preventive equipment (face masks, earplugs, stim toys) will be available at the entrance to the conference room. The conference room and cafeteria have adjustable lighting.

Presentations will be automatically subtitled and translated via Zoom on the slides displayed in the room and online, so that all the talks can be followed in French and English at the same time.

There are a few rules to be observed to ensure that everyone has a good experience. In particular, avoid touching anyone who hasn't asked you to; don't grab the handles of wheelchairs without being asked. If necessary, first ask people how you can help them and respect their answer.

We would like to remind you that you can leave the conference room at any time to take a break, put on sunglasses or earplugs, etc.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us before or during the conference.

If you would like to bring your children with you, or have any other accessibility issue unaccounted for, please contact us by e-mail so that we can make the necessary arrangements to meet your needs.
